1. Name: Roxanne
2. Age: 19
3. Location: CA, USA
4a. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: reliable, intelligent, kind
4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: shy, procrastinator, judgmental
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: Probably London, I'm actually going to be there for the next two semesters for school. I've always wanted to go there, though I'm not sure why that initially started. I chose it for next year partially because of the HP connection, and partially because I wouldn't have to learn another language. It's different enough that I'll be part of a new culture, but not too drastic of a change.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: It's just my real name spelled backwards, cause I think it looks cool. The underscore is because plain ennaxor was already taken.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Probably Christmas. Not just for the presents, but it's pretty much the only time of the year my dad's side of the family gets together, and that's always fun (he has 4 brothers, so they've always got crazy stories of stupid things they did as kids). Plus there's Christmas parties, and caroling, and Christmas music on the radio, and lots of decorations... All around good times.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): My Sister's Keeper (Jodi Picoult), A Bend in the Road (Nicholas Sparks), and the His Dark Materials trilogy
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? Probably English for my favorite. I enjoyed reading nearly all the assigned books, and liked most of the more creative assignments (analytical essays not so much, but I still did well). No one subject really stood out as my best, I tended to get high grades in everything.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? Hard question... Most questions I have right now would probably be answered in Deathly Hallows, so I'd want to ask something different. I'd like to know more about Hermione's life outside of Hogwarts, her family and all, so maybe I'd ask about that. I think it's interesting how Rowling originally intended Hermione to have a younger sister, but that never ended up in the books.
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: It's hard to pick just one, but I think Goblet of Fire. It's our first real view of the huge wizarding world beyond Hogwarts, the Tri-Wizard tasks are awesome, and there's the Yule Ball. Plus that's when we really start to see how Ron and Hermione are developing feelings for each other.
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? A cleaning spell. I hate having to clean (be it my room, the dishes, the yard...), so that would make life sooo much easier.
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: Probably Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw because I've always been a strong student, and I enjoy logic puzzles. Hufflepuff because I'm fair, loyal, and a hard worker. I don't think I'm brave enough for Gryffindor, or Slytherin-like in any way.
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: Sure
15. Anything else we should know?: Um, I'm majoring in journalism, with an outside emphasis in creative writing. I'm shy around people I don't know, but much more outgoing and energetic with close friends. I'm also a big fan of Gilmore Girls (Jess/Rory, Luke/Lorelai), One Tree Hill (Naley), and Heroes, if that makes a difference at all.
