1. Name: Natalie
2. Age (no one under 13, please): 21
3. Location: Sunny, smoggy, Southern California
4a. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: Logical, dynamic, sweet
4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: Overly critical, overemotional, cold
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: Hawaii, I think. I couldn't stand living there for much longer (I'd get bored... the islands are really quite small, when you think about it) but a year sounds about nice. They've got pleasant beaches and sprinkles of rain every hour or two, pretty flora and fauna, and shopping malls.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: It was the name of a roleplaying character of mine. This was intended, initially, to be a character journal, but I decided to just use it for myself. So there you go.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: I've always been an Easter fan, (my family puts more importance on it than most people do, I think) but Christmas is nice too. I love the feel of Christmas season, all the decorations and carols and people being kind to one another.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): The Neverending Story by Michael Ende, Jed the Dead by Alan Dean Foster, and Rise of Endymion by Dan Simmons. I'm a Sci-Fi fan and advocate: yes, some sci-fi books are crap, but that doesn't mean they all are.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? Aaaargh, that's a tough one. Right now I'm a college senior majoring in Philosophy (which I love!) but I'm thinking about doing grad school work in Religious Studies (some kind of mythology, maybe Shinto) and I've just been offered the chance to recieve a grant to major (or double-major) in Math. But I don't know if I want to, because I used to hate math, but I like it better these days. If you'd've asked me a couple of years ago, I would have said 'English!' and been done with it, but now life is complicated. ._.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? I think I'd just slap her. I didn't think much of the fifth book, and haven't yet got through the sixth. "Why! Did! You! Commercialize! Such! A! Good! Series?!"
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: The third! Prisoner of Azkaban was just fun to read. There were lots of different story threads moving through book, which I always like, and some of the very best characters were introduced in that book.
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? I think I would be happy to have a spell that cleaned things up and organized them. I'm not a horribly messy person, but I hate having to take time out of my day (which I'll never get back!) to do dishes, fold the laundry, organize all my stuff...
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: Ravenclaw. Without a doubt. I'm an intellectual and a problem solver. I love being around clever and intelligent people, and put 'intelligence' high on my list of what I look for in friends and more-than-friends.
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: Sure. Why not?
15. Anything else we should know?: Not that I can think of.
16. Please post at least three clear pictures of yourself:
