I got a new cat today
His name is Crookshanks because I AM JUST SO CREATIVE RIGHT.
We had to hand write checks at work the other day. PAIN IN THE ASS, THE COMPUTERS BETTER BE WORKING TOMORROW.
God I want to shave one side of my head so badly because I love my hair like that. Don't let me, it would be so counter productive right now.
Today Emily and I went on a journey to Jantzen Beach. We took the MAX and then the c-tran there and got off at the wrong fucking MAX stop because Mikey's directions were wrong so we had to wait at the Expo Center. That place was a waste land. I don't even know what it was for. It just seemed like this huge parking lot in the middle of nowhere. Once we got to the right stop to transfer to the c-tran it actually was a faster trip, so Mikey was right about that.
We went to Target and wow wow wow the clothing selection at that Target basically sucks. I saw some cute stuff, but nothing I couldn't get at Forever 21 for the same price or cheaper. I'm still surprised that I only spent about $20 there. Then we went to Michael's so I could get the felt to make my crown...which I still haven't made. Then to Toys R Us where I adopted Crookshanks. Let me tell you this, the selection of stuffed animals at Toys R Us was SO WEAK. There was like...nothing. I remember being a kid and going to Toys R Us to get a new stuffed animal and there being a huge aisle packed on both sides with stuffed animals. Maybe kids these days don't like them? Sad. Then I wanted some Harry Potter legos and they did not have any, except for this one that was actually just a board game. No thanks.
We finally got back downtown and ate way too many nachos at Santeria and then we went to try to find a cat suit. Didn't work. I ended up getting this bodysuit from American Apparel -
DON'T WORRY I WILL BE WEARING LEGGINGS AND A SKIRT OVER IT. I wanted something different, but they didn't have it available in the store so I just went with this. The costume isn't going to be exact but I figure as long as the hair and crown are right, it should be pretty easy to tell who I am.
