Predestination.

Of *course* we were destined to be the tricksters of the family and the British Wizarding World at large. I mean, come on. There's Bill - he's working for goblins and knows curses inside and out. He taught us much of what we know about transfiguration and, uh, the more interesting charms. (Sorry Mum!) Then there's Charlie - nutter, that one, reminds us of Hagrid in some ways. Still, everything we've ever needed to know about the more, er, quasi-legal ways to get ingredients for the shop from out of the country, he's there and can always help us. Perce - well, the brothers have asked us to keep our traps shut about the little snake be nice, so we'll be totally out of character and just shut up. Ron's our ickle brother and sure, he *could* have been a trickster, but he's too busy being the best friend of the Boy Who Lived To Blow Snot On Voldemort. That's a job in itself. And Gin...well. The less said about Voldemort dragging Ginny into the business Voldemort the better right now. We kind of think Voldemort she might need a few years to recover from Voldemort school first. She's a clever girl though. Too clever to leave school like we did.

So, yes. I believe by process of elimination that we, Fred and George Weasley, were destined to bring laughs and unwashable goo and timely vomit to the Wizarding World. Laughter is the best cure for facing down half-human Bad Guys. You might try a toffee on one of them, too. (Sorry Mum!)
