Wheee! Fizzy!

Sep 28, 2007 22:50

I carbonated some iced tea yesterday (standard lemon flavour) and you know what? It's pretty dang good. I have no idea why no one has ever done it before.
It took a little longer to brew than the ginger ale, probably because there's fewer nutrients in tea.
The only real downside is that it seems to lose it's carbonation pretty quickly. It was really fizzy (like root beer) when I first opened it 6 hours ago; now it's about sprite level fizzy. I imagine it'll be flat by tomorrow, even with the lid on. So now I have another basic recipe to experiment with.
So I put this question out: what should I try to carbonate next? Something that you've never seen in fizzy pop form, but have always wanted to try.

In other news, by this time tomorrow I should be over the Atlantic. Work is shipping me off to London for a week to meet with clients and stuff. While there, odds are not good that I'll have internet access. I'll hopefully have lots of pictures when I return, though.

End of line.
