Mod Post // Temporary Help
Hi, my precious members. *waves* The two banner makers are now both inactive on LiveJournal, and for once I'm asking for help to do the banners that has to be done, and the list can be seen on this post. You can help doing as much or as little number of banners, any help would be very appreciated.
It would be best to post 2-4 weeks of banners at once, which include both catetories Capture and Theme banners, or we will never finish. You can also choose to take care of only one post of 2-4 weeks of banners, or you can start with that, and see if you would be willing to do more.
You can use the following HTML template for your posts, it saves a lot of time, you only have to insert the usernames and the urls of the banners. This would be the codes to use for one week of Capture and Theme banners, so you would have to copy/paste it for each week of banners that you would like to do at once:
It would be important to include a Subject Title for your entry, so that I know what is done. Something like: Week ### to ### Banners, and add the "banners" tag.
Banner Making or Large Graphics Experience is not mandatory (I never made any banners before I applied years ago, so don't be shy!) but appreciated. You can of course use textures make by other people to make your banners, or use an Harry Potter image as a base, such as using the ones for the Capture challenge when you make banners for that category, if you want.
The information that should be on your banners are: the name of the community (Wizard Icontest) the name of the category (Capture, Theme) the placing (First Place, Second, Third, Mods Choice) and of course the username and the winning icon.
If you want to help me, comment here. I will give you posting access, and we will determine which weeks of banners you should do. Please tell me how many weeks of banners you choose to do, and keep in mind that you should do both the Capture and the Theme banners for each week. (I'll take care of the oldest banners that has to be done of the Actors/Capture week, then I'll move on to the rest) However, I won't ask you to make banners for my own winning icons, so you'll have a little less banners to do :D
