:D I realize this, but it does rather seem like some styles are coming in and out, you know? Last year different icons were favored, and before a little while ago, icons with those swirly circle light textures were favored... Adn now it's b/w and grey and stuff...

Yeah maybe it's just the style that iconmakers like! I've seen so many with that style. Sometimes it just looks good, but other times it's like ahhh! overboard. Whatever. I usually vote the same way you're speaking of; for greatness all around, and uniqueness. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if other people catch on to what we're talking about.
