Mod Post /// 4th (and final) Poll + Rule Changes
So I've just looked at the latest poll, our third one, and I have some results for you guys... I will also be doing one more tiny poll on the explicit content issue.
1.) The similar icons are outlawed! I'll be adding something to the rules asking members to make their icons more diverse, at least the ones in the same week... I'll be commenting at least once, maybe twice, to the users who make their icons too similar. If I can tell that you're trying to make them different, you'll be fine. If I find that you're deliberately ignoring me, I'll disqualify your icons... Basically I'll be nice as long as you're trying to follow the rules!
2.) Copying tutorials is also outlawed! I had a few comments "well, I don't think tutorials are bad as long as you don't copy them," which is very true. From my point of view, if you learn new techniques from a tutorial and incorporate that into your own work, no one should be able to tell you followed a tutorial... So as long as we can't tell you followed a tutorial, you're good.
3.) I will be working on a FAQ (that's Frequently Asked Questions, for those who don't know) which will be linked in the info and main community page... I feel like the rules are going to be bogged down too much if I try to elaborate on everything on the info page. Therefore, I'll be making a FAQ that will answer loads of questions, and it will also show the examples that I've shown in the previous poll... If you've got suggestions of questions for me to answer on the FAQ, please comment here and I'll get that started on it asap!
4.) I'm still weary about the explicit content issue, so there will be one more poll... The majority is indifferent on the issue. There is still quite a few who don't like the idea of the rule at all, and that leaves me a little weary. Thus the poll...
