So yeh, nothing more to update on either girl which isn't exactly surprising...
After asking yet another female mate for her opinion to the 'nothing would be a good start' quote I still haven't received any 'OMG, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT' which leads me to think it just went down the wrong way and wasn't anything to feel guilty about. Hey ho, we all say the dafest things with a few beverages in our system. I've got little to feel ashamed about and if anything, she knows I find her attractive now anyhoo
Despite pretty much politely asking to come over and watch football, Ellie seems distinctly reluctant to co-operate. I get the impression that if I baked her a cake and brought it over she wouldn't let me inside. It's a sorry state of affairs. Perhaps she feels potentially embarassed by my presence amongst her friends but I muse it's far more underlying than that. She simply doesn't want to see me. I've showed concern at her bout of illness, sympathy at the plight of her football team yet what has she actually shown towards me? A reluctance to socialise despite my insistence. Soddit, if she wanted me around she could quite easily organise it. She just doesn't.
However, there is this nagging doubt that I should be forward. If I want to watch football at hers why not just type it and press send? Whats the worst that could happen? She comes up with an iffy excuse that she's busy/not watching it etc. Perhaps she'd think I'm using her just to watch football in a nearby living room? Whatever, she should realise by now that I want to see her. She lives 2 minutes walk from my front door and yet I've seen her once in over 2 weeks.
Sometimes I wonder why I actually bother and that deciding not to check if she's feeling better or simply not communicating with her at all would give her the message that it's up to her to make an effort. I'd be surprised if I heard from her anytime soon
