Long time no blog
Howdy readers,
It has been a long while since I posted. I've had a difficult year to say the least. My mother has been battling cancer, but so far she seems to be winning. My sister has been studying abroad. I'm STILL single, but I'm zeroing in on a few potentials.
I'm still working full time in a library. And I'm somewhat happy. Today was a good day. I saw Donna, my old assistant manager, now manager for lunch. We had a picnic by the bay (about 5 minutes south of my job), walked around and just talked. I had a really nice time, I have to say, it was probably one of my best lunch breaks I've ever had, which sounds kind of weird.
My friendships with Larry and Selena have basically gone sour, with Larry more so. He's moved to Jersey and I havent' heard from him since last November. Thats a long time! And when I did, it was only to talk about himself and how great is job is. Wing a ding ding! As for Selena, I think our lives are just too different..she has a baby, a hubby..basically she's your average American housewife now..I don't think I have any place in her life anymore.
So who are my friends? Melissa Mc, Melissa Ma, Dawn, Charis, Craig, Karen, Sean and Andy. Not a bad bunch, but I could always use some more.
