Such annoyance!
Oh, sigh.
So we are wanting to not have to check any baggage when we head down to Disneyland, but as I was browsing the TSA guidelines I noticed that all those silly "liquids, gels, and aerosols" rules are still in effect.
They are as follows:
"The TSA has loosened restrictions for carry-on baggage. Travelers will be permitted to transport travel-size toiletry type of liquids, aerosols, and gels in their carry-on baggage provided all three of these rules are met:
- The liquids, gels, and aerosols are in containers of (3.4) ozs. (100ml) or less per container.
- All containers are carried in a clear, transparent, re-sealable one (1) quart plastic baggie.
- The closed, sealed baggie must be removed from the carry-on baggage and separately x-rayed."
3.4 ounces. I understand that is the standard size of those mini shampoos, but COME ON.
And also...
1 quart?! Not 2 quarts. Not half a quart. ONE QUART.
I understand and appreciate anti-terrorism rules. They can search me top to bottom. I've submitted to backscatter x-rays at the airport, which apparently really upsets some people. (For me, some lady saw me naked and I got to the front of the line. EVERYONE WINS.) I have no problems with all the cautiousness and the like, BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Seriously.
