-I took my cousins to the midnight showing and it was totally worth it.
-The visual effects were amazing. The cave with the dead people and Dumbledore's fire, destruction of London, the vanishing cabinet, everything relating to Death Eaters...
-The casting was fabulous. The kid who played teenage-aged Tom Riddle blew my mind. Helena Bonham Carter is still freakin' spellbinding as Bellatrix, and I loved just looking at Narcissa. Though, she shoulda been all blonde.
- It was hilarious.
-The Weasley's shop=fascinating.
-Michael Gambon as Dumbledore. Everybody seems to be hatin' on him as Dumbledore, which I don't get because I like him way better than the first one.
-They didn't really say much of anything about the Half-Blood Prince. So, that was...interesting.
-I think they cut out a bunch of flashbacks re: Voldemort. Wasn't this the one with all the stuff about his parents? Shouldn't that have been in here? Cuz it's like...IMPORTANT.
-There was a too much time spent on everyone's libido. They're horny teenagers. We get it. Can you just tell the actual story now?
-They cut out Dumbledore's funeral. WTF?! He's only like the most important character behind Harry and Voldemort. Maybe some grief/rememberance/tribute is in order?
-There was no Bill. I'm not particularly sad about missing out on the "romance" between him and Fleur (or between Remus and Tonks, frankly), but I wanna see him.
In any case, I'm sure I'll be seeing it about six more times.
