Ugh...
So since the last time I posted, we found out that 5 more people from this area were killed in Iraq...I only knew one of them, and we werent close or anything but we talked in hs a lot & we got along very well...I didnt know any of the other four...I knew one kid's parents thru Bill's parents, but thats it, and the other 3 were from further away...one was 19, the other 2 were older, and both had kids...everytime you think youre comin thru it ok, somethin else slaps you in the face & knocks you down again. But I guess we just gotta keep pickin ourselves back up....we'll make it I thik....what doesnt kill you makes you stronger right??? ahhhhh
Trying to look at the bright side of things, Penn State is 5-0!!!!! Im so excited...we thrashed the number 18 team with the number 5 offense in the country 44-14!!! it was amazing!!! Also, the Eagles won again yesterday...squeaked out another one, but "it doesnt matter whether you win by an inch or a mile, winnings winning!" haha...oh & I found this cool quote so I gotta put it in here!
What is it to be one of 50,000? It means looking at a map to get to class and asking for directions. It means getting lost, but eventually learning your way. It's being a single person in a sea of blue and white. Its waiting in lines, for tickets, for pizza, for beer. It means meeting at the fish tank, eating at the hub, and studying at the library. It means long nights, late nights and coffee at the cafe. Its being in a class of 700 and loving it. It means roommates and friends, and if you're lucky, they're one
