Ataraxia? It's a condition characterized by freedom from worry or any other pre-occupation really.

Laundry has become the biggest concern in my life at the moment. Okay, not the biggest, but certainly the most immediate. Today I am wearing my "the floggings will continue until morale improves" shirt, and though there isn't a dress code at my job, I still wouldn't normally sport a skull and crossbones in my polite, shy and hopefully helpful employee facade. I need my shirts back (I probably also need more shirts, but that's beside the point and a less immediate problem), and that requires laundry.  Unfortunately, I don't have the 42 quarters that would be required to do my laundry at my current home, nor can I easily acquire them.  This leaves, as far as I can tell, mooching off of others and/or investigating rumors of a laundromat on Moody.  I dislike mooching, though suppose I could offer baked goods as consolation for my presence, but free and comfortable are both high points in that direction.  As for the laundromat plan, the fiction-lover in me delights, while the realist points out rumors that the laundromat on Moody isn't particularly pleasant. Plus I don't know how much it costs or if it takes coinage other than quarters.  I can survive another couple days without laundry, I'm simply slipping into the supply of shirts I'd rather not wear. (Most of them date back to middle school and/or early high school and it seems strange to me that they haven't been burned. Also that they fit me.)

So long story short, have you been to the laundromat on Moody? Do you know of another laundromat that isn't absurdly far away/do you plan to go to a laundromat and wouldn't mind taking me? Or do you own a washer/dryer and don't mind letting me borrow three washes worth of water and a few hours sitting nearby?
