Christmas MMXVII

Dec 25, 2017 10:12

This year we learned there are two kinds of beings in the universe: those who dance, and those who do not. Our household has a bit of both.

Naomi loves to dance. At least that’s what it looks like she’s trying to do when she wiggles to the music.

Cookie is feeling a bit too stoic for dancing. With her age and life experiences, that’s understandable.

Saffron is our most enthusiastic dancer. Just start talking about dancing and he will show you his moves.

Posey dances when she wants to go inside, or wants someone to play with her. But mostly when she wants to go inside.

Bonk has a special bounce that could be considered a dance by some standards. Do eagles dance?

Casey has not been seen dancing. Maybe she would say so, but watch how teenagers shuffle around to music and tell us whether that’s really dancing.

Lottie may not have as much dignity as other cats, but she’s still a cat, and thus does not dance.

Beatrix has been seen dancing at least once. She’ll probably do it again if asked properly.

Enoch refuses to admit that he dances. At least so he said when asked the question.

Fafnir prefers singing to dancing. He roots for Bing Crosby instead of Fred Astaire when he watches Holiday Inn.

Klio doesn’t just dance, she dances upside down!

Freya is not only a cat, but also Senior Pet. Does that mean she dances? No it does not.

Ginny has also been seen dancing at times. But not too much, because we don’t want her wearing herself out.

Eric almost always has some kind of music going through his mind, so that’s where most of his dancing happens.

But whether you dance or not, we hope this Christmas has been a merry one, and that 2018 will give you more cause to dance than ever before!
