I may not get on LJ much, but when I do, I always read your posts my dear weegoddess. In fact hearing from you is just yet another fish to touch my boat. Gawds that sounds dirty. But yes, I am happier than I have been in years. ::will take a moment to remember why he is happy:: Ah, good thoughts.
As for me going somewhere, that is a definate possibility. While it will not make many people happy to hear it, I and a close friend will probably be leaving to join the Navy in a few months. I just took my ASVAB, and I scored extremely well... and I mean 'EXTREMELY' well. Then again, if I do recall, there is a Naval duty-station somewhere in your area. So there is a chance that in a year or so when I finish training I may actually be able to visit you and J.
Early, me? Okay, just a bit. I am sick, I have an excuse.wits_gulagOctober 14 2007, 10:09:27 UTC
Your welcome dear, there was much love to that comment, even if it sounded like a dirty ditty.
As for my safety, I think I will be alright. While nothing in the military is entirely safe, I will pretty much get my pick of a job, and to travel will make it worth it. By all accounts I made the ASVAB my biatch.
I and I am sure others have missed you much. To see you guys would be fantastic. If the chance to visit ever arises, I will be sure to give you a ring. I am sure Dayity can give me the number. Though is that crashspace open for two? I did mention a close friend of mine was joining as well, and you guys would probably get along. At least I hope so anyway.
I think I'm broken on the old love-train. I had the horse-love thing (that sounds really bad) once, and since I lost it, I've had a hard time caring to get back out there and even try.
And, the navy's awesome. If I was going to go into the military, it would probably be the navy. LCAC's are good to sleep on. And, hover-crafts can run over people on the beach without hurting them. Just try not to be the one getting run over. Oh, and playing basketball on aircraft carriers is a lot of fun.
I'm glad to hear that things are going in a decidedly upwardly direction for you. And you are correct, your friends (at least, of the 'me' variety) are not completely happy about you leaving for the Navy. I understand the reasons behind the decision, though. And I completely support you, no matter what.
You are one of those friends I wish I could hang out with more often. Of course, this was the motivation of me picking you as one of my groomsman. I have an alternate in mind, in case it comes to that. Try and keep me in the loop on your plans, if you happen to remember to.
I am not happy you are planning to join the Navy. But we've discussed that. I do NOT want you to leave. Gaming would not be as fun without you. ALL parties would not be as fun. FPG would definitely take a blow with out its Logistics manager and who the hell is gonna do interpretive dance with Erinn and Thor? Father Sky Lodge needs you and who will help me write the Discordian Ritual??? *sigh* I understand why you are thinking about joining, I would miss you a whole bunch, so would Thor and many others...I just keep thinking there has got to be a different solution. Know you are loved sweety...muchly loved.
Yeah, she is the one who said it. Isn't she great. I was so happy that you two knew each other and that I had something to do with you guys bumping together. That kind of rocked. Specially since the day before you had given me the horse necklace and she went nuts on how cool it was.
