I'm sure I've already annoyed my whole flist and then some with my pretty recent crush on this dude, I don't know, I'm just going to embarrass myself a little bit more talking about him, I guess ;D

So, I recently watched Generation Kill and I absolutely loved it and one of the best things that came out of watching it was that I discovered this guy and now I'm really, really, reeeally in love with him. It's funny because I've never been the kind of fangirl that develops like 758337234 crushes every week; in fact, the other serious crush I have is Johnny Depp and that began when I was like eight so yeah, I don't even know, it's kind of unknown territory for me. But yeah, this guy? I'm so gone for him! And it's not even the fact that he's like, freaking hot! (lusting after him is not the important part for me; it's really enjoyable though :P) or incredibly talented! (I'm currently going through his filmography and yeah, we need more like him on tv and movies) I'm not gonna lie, that was a huge part of it but I just... I truly admire him, you know? His whole personality and the way he lives his life and I think it's pretty rare to find someone like him; the man's been though a lot of things in his life and still, he's incredibly awesome and smart and funny and so damn honest. How can you not love someone like him?

And I'm gonna leave you some links because SERIOUSLY!
+ James Ransone for Malibu Magazine, in which he talks about his drug addiction and how filming Generation Kill and the friendships he developed helped him through that stage of his life.
+ James Ransone kicks rapist ass, in which he's SO DAMN AWESOME!!!!
+ Q&A: Generation Kill actor James Ransone answers your questions @ The Guardian, In which he talks about Generation Kill, The Wire and Keira Knightley.
+ Killing yourself to live @ The Guardian, in which he talks about what The Wire has meant for his career, more Generation Kill and yeah, Twilight!
+ On Death Cab for Cutie's What Sarah Said video, in which he angsts and it's one of the prettiest things ever. But seriously, I'm telling you: he's talented! He doesn't even talk in this one yet he conveys so much emotion. It's amazing!
+ big trouble in little china, in which there's a funny story about a cat + some photos HEEE!! :D
+ GENERATION KILLED, in which a friend of his shares a photo essay and it's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

And that was it, I hope you liked it! :D
