I wish my backyard looked like this all the time..
For those of you who have seen my house, you'll appreciate these. I love when the creek gets high, but we've never had to deal with potentially getting flooded. This is the highest I've ever seen it. Our next door neighbors (The Paynes) have a couple feet before it gets to their foundation. I wish is was warm so I could go tubing. I could probably make it all the way to the Mary's if the bridges weren't there.
JJ took this from our back steps. His back is pretty much against the house. And the ball lights are my mother's Christas decorations.
This one looks down the creek. The bridge to get to our house is just out of view.
Fun, eh? if it gets much higher, I should host a sandbagging/swimming party. I bet we could make a nice pool with the sandbags supplied by the city!
