I suppose it is about time to put focus into some real work again. My previous progress lays buried under rubble from the last attack, but even if it was a loss, I shall survive. Such work would only assist with my survival, and not help me leave this place. And it seems we will be here for quite some time, so there is time enough for a large-scale project. Even if the monster could wipe it out with a change of moods...
My first question goes to the residents that lived here previous to the attack, or even to the ones who has explored enough of the city. Is there an aerodrome of sorts here? Surely you people have gotten into the skies before disaster.
It matters little if there is anything, but scraps from your old ships would be of use.
Secondly, as many people are making their way from Madison Square Garden, I would like to take the central area as a place to work on my newest project. What that project is, if you must know?
An airship. I think it best to gather as much material as possible, scrap or otherwise, before I begin to draw up preliminary designs. One must see what he has to work with, after all! ... so if anyone is willing to make themselves useful...
The time for haste is necessary! Although in this sort of environment such a project will take time. Far too much time, and with the monster lurking about, there is no telling how things will 'fly.'
But one hardly wants to spend the rest of his life in this desolate Manhattan.
((Yeah, don't worry, I fully know that either 1.) He'd never get far with it or 2.) Big Momma would probably manage to step through it if he did. Though he does expect it'd take years anyway.))
