It's a shame how friendships fade. Just when you think things are getting good it's getting old for someone else. Or something better comes along, like romance or drugs. No matter what people say friends are never really first. It is easier to jump on the gravy train of excitement and sex when you know your friends will still be there when everything else is gone, that's why you put them off, put them aside, put them down, get everything else while you still can. Some people say that friends are like silver and gold. I think that although it is fairly accurate it is not a good thing to be advertising. The thing with silver and gold is that 1. you can't wear them at the same time without clashing and looking absolutely ridiculous. 2. Both are in and out of fashion quite often so you never stay anywhere long, just jump back and forth. 3. You really only wear them when it is convenient for you; it matches your outfit or suites the occasion. 4. when you need something that you feel is more important (like drugs) it is very easy to pawn them off and forget the value of the item all together. Not a very good foundation. I'd say "hey friendship could be compared to diamonds. diamonds are forever, every kiss begins with kay (romance starts with friendship, or should)" but the truth about diamonds and druggies is that they could just grind that up and snort it too. I think friendship should be compared to blue jeans. It would set a much better example. Jeans go good with pretty much everything, you can dress them up or down, they are accepted in most work places, and are appropriet for most dates. Also, jeans are comfortable where as jewelry is either heavy, fragile (so you have to be careful about your activities), gives you a rash, or leaves a nasty green ring around your finger (the cheap kind anyway). Also, if you stain your jeans, you usually still want them unless you are stuck up and you dont deserve friends anyway.
Moral of the story? eat some gravy, sell your jewelry, wash your jeans, and fuck your friends (literally not figuratively, i hear it's good).

It would be reaaaallly cool if someone took this seriously and got mad at me. I mean it would make my day. Boredom is real.
