I made this table a couple nights ago. Memorize it like the back of your hand. If you don't understand pot odds, let me know and I'll explain it to you:
Outs.)..Odds (BY the River)..Odds (ON the river)..(Example(s))
21.)....7:3..................9:11.................(Outside straight/flush* draw with two overcards)
2.).....1:11.................2:45.................(Low pocket pair against high pocket pair)
1.).....2:45.................1:45.................(Improving three of a kind to four of a kind against a pocket pair that made the full house)
*Straight draw AND flush draw, or actual straight flush draw... doesn't change the odds.
If you're not familiar with pot odds... it's basically telling you how to correctly make your bet. Take 5 outs (making three of a kind or two pair after a flopped low pair) for example. The odds are 1:4. If there is $12 in the pot and someone raises you $4, it is correct to call because your 1:4 odds mean you should pay $1 for every $4 in the pot to correctly make your call. $12 in the pot plus that $4 = $16, so you are correct to call $4. $4:$16 = 1:4.
And on Taking Lives... me and my friends snuck in right at the part where she took her clothes off, then when it was over we went to our actual movie. It was perfect timing.
