(no subject)
Ok, so, first of all, MERRY FREAKING CHRISTMAS! Second of all, it was an awesome one and I'm very very happy.
I got lots of neato gifts which makes me very happy, but I feel like just listing a few particularly noteworthy ones.
1. A ridiculous brown hat that makes me look like I should live in Norway and wander the tundra....its AMAZING. I will be wearing it...well...all the time...everywhere. Prepare yourselves.
2. Cool green lamp thingy for my room.
3. Lots of earrings and even some makeup (this is noteworthy because yes ladies and gentlemen, I am in the process of becoming a girl for real)
4. Two pairs of sweatpants and workout clothes (this to offset #3)
5. A card from Kerry, my brother's girlfriend, that made me feel really good about myself (everyone knows that is quite a feat)
6. A bright red t-shirt with a bull, complete with testicles, on it from Claire!
7. CLAIRE! That gift was from Spain and the Airlines. And it was just what I would have wanted. Gracias!
The best gift was definitely spending time with my family...especially since this is the last Christmas that we will all be together in this house. Perhaps next year we may be in Thailand or Australia. But wherever we are, Colin and I won't be waking up early and opening presents together in our living room. He'll be out saving the world and I'll be here, eating cookies. So Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy it, don't waste it, and hug every member of your family that you see. That's my advice.
