Here is my first ever mood theme! It's been a work-in-progress for a while but I've finally finished it.
BUFFY SUMMERS MOOD THEME
[No hotlinking, no editing and no stealing]
Click here to download Zip file (Right-click, and Save As)
The zip contains all 132 moods, with no repeats. Images are 80x45px.
Instructions
1. Download the .zip file above and unzip it.
2. Upload the images to a photo hosting site such as
Photobucket. Be sure to keep the file names as they are.
3. Go to the
LJ admin console.
4. In the text box type in moodtheme_create "Title of Theme" "Short Description of Theme". Replace "Title of Theme" with a title of your choice, and do the same with "Short Description of Theme" with a description. Be sure to remember the title of your theme as you'll need this later. Once you're done, click "execute". If you've done the previous steps correctly, the console will give you a number. Copy down this number.
5. Now open the "adminconsolecodes.txt" file in the zip file you downloaded in step 1.
6. Using the "replace" tool in your notepad program, replace the 12345 number with the number the console gave you previously. Also replace the "
http://www.hosting.com/" url with the url to the folder that stores the images on your domain, or the photobucket album. e.g.
http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/oo188/withoutaword_x/my%20mood%20themes/btvs/7. Copy and paste this edited codes into the admin console, and click execute. You should be directed to a page with your accepted codes. If not, go back and re-do the steps again.
8. Now go to your
Customize page. If you're using s2, which is likely if you haven't changed your style, go to the "Customize your Theme" link on the right of the page. There should be a "Mood Theme" section on your new page - underneath it, there is a drop down menu. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
If you're using s1, simply scroll down your customize page until you find the "Mood Themes" section. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes.
And that's it, the mood theme should now appear on your journal.
