CIY
here's an over view of the week.. CIY and yesterday/today
Day One (Monday)- I am Love
well we woke early, just leave it at that, got to church at like 9:10 after i missed the church entrance and drove 6 hours to michigan. we stayed at anderson university which meant that we stayed in dorm rooms with NO air conditioning and it was soo hott that day that we all got sick. we went to service which was real cool. worshiped and listened to the speaker. then went back to the dorms and slept.
Let love be your guide. Christ loved us and offered his life for us as a sacrifice that pleases God.

Day Two (Tuesday)- I am Grace
woke up around 7-7:30 and got ready. went to morning service where we worshiped and listened to a speaker. then we broke up into our own churchs and talked. broke for lunch and ate. then came back for a comedian. his name was bone so comedian bone and he was really funny. he got this song 'i got clutter. i got clutter clutter clutter.' which wont make sense but hey. then we had free time and dinner. then we went back for the night service which was basically the same as the night befores. a really cool thing that we did though was turned away and confesses our sins to Him. i guess you had to be there but it was really powerful. then we went back to the dorm and slept.
"Value isn't determined by how much something is worth, but how much someone is willing to pay for it.. and God was willing to give it all."
Your thoughts are far beyond my understanding, much more than I could ever imagine. I try to count your thought but they outnumber the grains of sand on the beach. And when I wake, I will find you nearby.

Day Three (Wednesday)- I am Here
woke up and got ready. went to morning service then we broke into our churchs and then we had electives. we went to a class about the opposit sex. then after that was over we had lunch. after lunch we had another class. it was our youth ministers and it was why believe in the bible. then we had free time and dinner. during our free time there was a huge storm me, jenn, and britt went outside and played in it and we were soaked. so then we all went and got a shower in our clothes!! then we had our evening service. it was a strong message defintely. later that night somethings happened that i cant say but got back to the dorm and everything got better. then we went to bed.
"Life is like a big storm and no matter how big the storm, we serve a God that is bigger."

Day Four (Thursday)- I am the Way
woke up late and we had to get ready and be at our morning service in 10 minutes. didnt do that so we were kinda late. got there and just listened. then we broke into our church groups. we had extended rec and we were going to go to the movies. in our group though we decided that we were going to go to walmart and buy gifts for a boy that our church had adopted in hondorus. it was a really good feeling going out and spending the money we were going to spend on a movie and spending it on a boy that has nothing. after that we got back and we had free time and dinner. then we went to our evening session. went back to the dorm and slept.
"It doesn't matter if your lost or how lost you are. It doesn't matter if you know the way. Jesus says, 'I am the way.'"
I kneel in prayer to the Father. All beings in heaven and on earth receive their life from him. God is wonderful and gloriou . I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers and that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith.

Day 5 (Friday)- I am Life
our last day and we got to sleep in. it felt good to sleep in. so we go to our last morning session and it was good. then we go to our church groups and we talked. after that we had lunch. then we went to another elective. it was called, 'why does God allow bad things to happen.' that class was really good. probably the best one. then we had free time and dinner. during free time there was a dodgeball tournament and we went and watched. our church didnt make it far but they did alright. me and jenn stayed to watch the whole thing and ended up cheering for a team that was really good but we had no idea who they were. they lost in the final match against the staff. then we had our final session. it was a good one. really powerful though was that they had these big cardboard circles turning and they spray painted them. they were hands and then they put a black hole in the middle of it and spray painted red around the hole. soon after they put down a paper that had Jesus head. It was amazing to see. I hope it turns out good whenever i post it on here! then we left and we started our 6 hour trip home. This week was good. it was a powerful week but overall i love CIY and it will be the best experience i ever have. just the awesome feeling of being close to Jesus makes everything worth while.

But Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable is worthless. Nothing is as wonderful as knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have given up everything else and count it all as garbage. All I want is Christ and to know that I belong to him... God accepted me simply because of my faith in Christ. All I want is to know Christ and the power that raised him to life. I want to suffer and die as he did, so that somehow I also may be raised to life.

Saturday
woke up around 1 and got a shower and picked up brian and went to dans graduation party. we played bad-mitten (sp) for a while and i stunk at that game. then we ate. then we went downstairs and played DDR. and then brian, will, and jason tried to teach me how to play magic and lets just say im a quick learner cuz we played twice and i won both times. i just rock like that! then me and brian left for the drive-ins but it was sold out so we went to showcase and saw war of the worlds. thought it would be better, but it was an ok movie. then i got stuck in his driveway for about 15 mins... finally got home and slept.
Today
woke up and got brian then went to church. my first church service without jenn and it was weird. i miss her:( i havent seen her for TWO days and thats such a long time. after that we went to mcdonalds and then to the mall. came back to my house where i taught brian how to play spit, i beat him. then we played clue. britt one. then we watched fairly oddparents. then we watched johnny english.. well i tried sleeping through some of it. but towards the end we just turned it off and sat in my basement in the dark and talked. i love sitting in my dark basement. then i dropped him off at his aunts house and that leaves me here. tomorrow is the fourth of july and i cant wait. mcsummer fest with jenn, zak, and brian. and i get to see jenn tomorrow! i hope she had fun on her little vaca. sorry zak, this is when i steal her back:) alright well im going to go now! goodbye!:)
