Today was one of best, if not the best day ever. It has reminded me to appreciate everything and how fortunate I am that people in the government love me.
Well, just a note, last week I got chosen to represent CNHS at some conference. But today, started off very nice...
1. Keith Hawkins came and talked to the freshman and sophmore class (I saw both performances), and then later gave a presentation to 100 people selected. We had to meet new people, and I met a girl who lost her father, sister, and is losing her mother. If anytown didnt make me appreciate life and everything I have, this did. The girl seemed hopeless in a way, yet strong-willed and full of love. I can't respect a person anymore than I respected her for those few minutes. You want to cry when you hear about something like that, yet you smile and thank someone, whether it be god, or anything else you put faith in and thank him that a person like that is still around, and you yourself are lucky enough to not know such a thing. Keith Hawkins makes my list of heroes in this world (with my family, and the armed forces)
2. Briana randomly calls me from England... this was amazing, just to hear her voice again. I love that girl.
3. I walk into my house to find I have been nominated for yet another conference in Washington D.C. Is that enough; No. I have been sent a letter straight from the government cordially inviting me to the presidential inauguration. Amazing.
4. Madelyn shows up outside my house at 9 oclock with a huge bag or reeses peanut butter cups for me, congratulating me... No words can describe how much that girl means to me.
