I tried to take into consideration bands and songs that got me into what I listen to now, songs that shaped me in some way, and songs that I just love,

1. Finch - What It Is To Burn (This song got me into everything)

2. Thursday - Understanding In a Car Crash (One of the best written songs ever, such an influential band)

3. Taking Back Sunday - Cute Without The E (Another song/band that got me into everything... I spent a whole summer listening to there cd)

4. The Movielife - Walking On Glass (I have cried listening to this song, another band that got me into music)

5. Folly - Please Don't Shoot The Piano Player (This song single-handedly made me like hardcore)

6. Brand New - The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot (This song is the song that makes everything you miss worth remembering... it's a shame I dont listen to Brand New enough anymore)

7. Glassjaw - Tip Your Bartender (Brought me into the world of Daryl Palumbo)

8. Every Time I Die - I Been Gone A Long Time (F-U-N)

9. Comeback Kid - Lorelei (Gets me going crazier than a 50 year old on viagra... also introduced me into a completely new genre of music)

10. Thrice - Cold Cash and Colder Hearts (lyrically, brilliant song)

11. The Bled - Red Wedding (yay for hardcore and breakdowns)

12. Led Zeppelin - anything by them is worthy

13. Underoath - Young and Aspiring (all their lyrics are perfect to relate to)

14. Saosin - Seven Years (After I saw this band live, I began listening to a much wider variety of music)

15. All Rights Reserved - Fun Days *In 8th Grade* (I miss 8th grade... just being friends with guys in a band who are so dedicated is inspirational for my own life)

16. With Honor - Bridges and Gaps (I'm straight edge, they're straight edge, we're straight edge)

17. The Mars Volta - Roullette Dares (Made me realize that no matter how weird music is, it can be beautiful)

18. Head Automatica - Brooklyn Is Burning (This is what music is all about... enjoying it for what it is... even if it is Daryl Palumbo with an erection)

19. The Who - anything by them as well

20. From First To Last - The One Armed Boxer vs. The Flying Guillotine (This band deffinitely revived my interest in bands with singing and not all screaming)

21. The Dillinger Escape Plan - Panasonic Youth (This band is filled with great musicians, and my list could not leave out the best live band ever)

22. New Found Glory - My Friends Over You (Where would I be without NFG... every scenester secretly loves this band)

23. Nirvana - anything by them (I grew up on this... thank you dad... without them I'd probably be wearing sweat pants 14 sizes to big for me right now and a headband)

24. A Static Lullaby - Shooting Star That Destroyed Us All (Another song that got me into screaming, and now I live off of it)

25. Vaux - Set It To Blow (Got me into hardcore, amazing live show)

This list took me a long time... don't take the actual order too seriously, but more of the bands on the list.
