That's a good question...

As far as I remember, since I got here, all the months had curses. Some months were really bad with plain torture. Others were random, even fun.

One could never be sure, I guess. Even if a month went by and things were quiet, it could just mean that no one was affected by them.

Look, in this world, Kantai, there are none of those catastrophes, so I think the curses are filling that void.
