It's been awhile.

Things are changing and I'm really excited about it. As of tomorrow I will officially be a Long Beach resident. I got a cute little studio apartment in the "gay ghetto," as it's called. All my friends live close by, which is nice. Kind of reminds me of our North County crew a little... except instead of all of us being located within one block.. it's more like 7 blocks. :) Now I just need to invest into a bike - cruiser preferred.

I quit my restaurant job and started a new one with one of our regulars that used to come in. He and his dad own a construction company, so I'm mainly doing office work/book keeping. It's really laid back and everyone here is really nice. I'm really enjoying it. I just couldn't handle serving anymore.. I've been doing it way too long.

Since starting a "day job," I had to switch my school schedule to nights. The minus is that now Monday through Friday, between work and school, I'm busy about 16 hours of the day, 5 days a week. It's rough. But the plus side - I have my weekends off. Before I quit the restaurant, I was working/had school 7 days a week. It's so nice having 2 full days off again. The weeks are miserable, but the weekends make it worth it.

My 26th birthday is on Wednesday. In all honesty, I'm actually looking forward to it. This last year has been full of really good highs and really bad lows. I'm hoping next year can be a little bit more mediocre. I'm okay with just being content. :)

We will be celebrating @ the Red Room in Long Beach, CA on Wednesday night. If you're going to be in the area, I would love for you to stop by... and shoot, who wouldn't want to join us for $1 beer night??

I hope everyone is doing well out there in lj land.. i miss catching up with everyone on here.
