[ What's this? It looks like someone's noticed the video post.

A tiny paw reaches out as the kitten -- the same age as the one in the cowboy's hat, in fact (as they're from the same litter) -- mews. There's no sign of whoever's supposed to be watching the little guy, however... ]

O-oh...I wannat pet it ;~; It's just a gif-party up in here--!! withloadedguns January 7 2012, 22:04:33 UTC
[Well, now. How peculiar is that. Cats all over the Network today.

Cat seems to recognize his sibling and sniffs at the screen of the device, curiously (of course).]

Friend of yours?

IT HAD TO BE DONE. FOR CUTES. FOR THE EXPLOSION OF OVARIES. oneminutemaze January 7 2012, 22:09:21 UTC
[ The kitten (unnamed, as of now; with luck it won't be named something like 'Cereal' after the other animals in the house) sniffs back, mewing again when he realizes that he can't actually smell or get at his sibling. Little ears and a tail twitch, eyes looking at the cowboy like this is somehow his fault.

Or they do, at least, until there's movement in the background -- the sound of a door opening and shutting, and footsteps, and a voice. ] What're you doing?

THEN WE HAVE DONE WELL. withloadedguns January 7 2012, 22:13:07 UTC
[Don't give him that look. It's not his fault. C'mon.

The cowboy answers the voice in the background.]

Making a few acquaintances, it seems like.

[ There's a bit of rustling, and the kitten licks his lips.

Apparently he's been brought something to eat, as he toddles out of the way for now, leaving Ariadne (who looks a bit worse for wear; at the very least, her eyes are slightly red) to pick up the device. She does smile, however, at the sight of the kitten and the cowboy. ]

Only one. They're brothers -- I saw that one when I picked him up.

[How can you not smile at the sight of the kitten and the cowboy?]

Is that so?

Is...that one giving you a hard time?

As much as any kitten would. It's the other animals in the house that I'm worried about, not him.

[ She settles onto her bed, watching the kitten as he eats. If that was an inquiry as to why she looks a bit terrible, she's ignoring it. ]

[It was--her eyes are red, after all--but since she's not answering it...]

You do have a lot of 'em.

[ Any excuse to slip out of questioning. ]

Four's not that many. [ One small hand moving to stroke the kitten's back. ] Besides, I'm thinking of moving out anyway. Get some fresh air.

How's the horse enjoying the newcomer?

[Four is a lot, but he won't say that...]

Sometimes you need that. Fresh air.

[A pause.]

I haven't really introduced them yet.

[Horse'll be fine.]

[ Only two of them are hers. That's as many as he has, isn't it? There's a slight smile, though. ]

I'd almost pay to watch that.

[ Just because it would be cute, and she could use that right now. ]

Careful what you say.

[You referenced money and all...]

I said almost.

[ There's a mew of agreement. ]

Did you get that coffee?

I did.

Seems like the horse got something too.

I'd call that trouble.

If you don't want me to spoil your horse, all you have to do is ask.

You seem to like it, and so does he.

Seems a shame to break something like that.
