§ A SinglE TeaR §
A single tear
bourne out of longing
slides down her cheek
leaving a trail of mourning
The wind whispers
sweet condolenses
which mean nothing
because she knows there is no more
In her sleep
dreams offer sweet kisses
featherlight like the brush
of a butterfly's wings
When she wakes
she can still feel the salt on her cheek
the sun light warms her
promising a new day
But when the moon touches the sky
another tear is bourne
sliding down her cheek
leaving a trail of mourning
As I gaze into your eye's my soul longs for your touch like the soft gentle rose currsing our mortal flesh, sences a fire with the passion of our hearts. If I was to die this day let me pass to the beyond with tales of a mortal beauty, let me share with the angles the pictures of you held fast in my mind and let them weep with envy they know not the sound of your voice how it calms the storm inside ... yes if this day is my mortal end then let me return to the universe with tales of you...
± Midnight Pillow-Talks ±
No inspiration to write
The words I cannot find
The day has left me tired
And rest is on my mind
To-do lists never ending
Set back just like before
Each item gets checked off
Creating several more
It's time to go to sleep now
But my mind won't let me rest
It all starts again tomorrow
For the world expects my best
The only thing that soothes me,
To help me sleep at night
Are those midnight pillow-talks
That set my dreams in flight
There's no one here right now
I'm sitting here alone
But it seems I found some words
In this poem of my own
I writing down my pillow-talk
Under midnight skies of blue
And although you didn't know it
I've just had this talk with you
So thanks a lot for reading
Now I think my mind will rest
And then when tomorrow comes
I am sure to give my best
The day has left me tired
And rest is on my mind
My dreams can now take flight,
Sleep's here for me to find.
