New Challenge: Autumn's Creature Challenge
Choose a creature/animal (other than human) and write a short story or poem through the eyes of your chosen creature. The creature can be real or mythical (such as phoenix, unicorn, gryphon, dragon, pegasus etc). But, please mix it up as I don't really want to read submissions only based on mythical creatures. ;)
Since there are many creatures to choose from, try not to write pieces on the same animal.
There is no word limit.
In your story or poem, remember to take on the characteristics of said creature. Let your readers feel the animal through your writing. You can mention the creature by name in your piece, if you choose.

If your submissions are lengthy, please employ a LJ cut.
If you would like to include a picture with your story/poem, you may. Just remember large images disrupt the community page and friends' page, so please resize your picture when posting.
