I just got home from an 80s night at The Knitting Factory, so fun! There were three tribute bands for Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Duran Duran. Since I like all three groups I had a fabulous time.
Unfortunately I came home to an email from mom's friend bashing Muslims again. I've tried to be nice in saying that I don't agree with their view point. I don't think we should "wipe Muslims off the face of the Earth", that isn't our place and they are human just like us. I've tried to be nice about it! They insist on shoving their hate down my throat though and I don't know how much longer I can keep up my friendly face. Somebody said to me yesterday "Oh so your'e finally going to Israel? Maybe when you're there you'll realize that they have no business there and that they should all be killed."
Uh, no. I'm close to snapping at them but I'll try to patient some more...
Today's photo of the day...
Spencer! He's hardly ever in, I cherish whenever he is.
Lastly, zomg over 500 earthquakes in Yellowstone from December 24th to January 1st! I'm not trying to think about it because if it is time for it to blow there's nothing we can do. The odds aren't that high, it could be warning signs for hundreds of years in the future (a blink of a geological eye) but I can't help but have a thread of worry. Again, nothing I can do about it if it turns out not be a hundred or thousands of years away so I try not to think about it (it being Armageddon Week on History Channel doesn't help ;)
