Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror?
I like sci-fi mixed with horror\suspense...like Jurassic Park. That said, I like all three genres, hehe
Hardback or Trade Paperback or Mass Market Paperback?
Depends. I usually get paperback but for certain books (Potter for example), I prefer hardback
Amazon or Brick and Mortar?
Brick and mortar. I like to go and read a book's synopsis and just browse with a coffee. Plus I like the atmosphere of a bookstore. I buy from Amazon, just not books
Barnes & Noble or Borders?
It's a tie. It used to be B&N but I like the new reward system that Borders set up...I go to both
Bookmark or Dog-ear?
Bookmark, dog-earing a book is blasphomy :P
Favorite Science Fiction Author?

Alphabetize by author, Alphabetize by title, or random?
I put the series I read\enjoy most first and I organize it by author. After my favorites, it's just other books..also organized by author.
Keep, Throw Away or Sell?
Throw away!?!?!? I remember shrieking at my brother for throwing away some of my books, why would you throw them away!? If they were completely ruined I'd recycle them (lol, semantics) but it would be if it were beyond repair. I keep books mostly since I'm sure to read them again. I'll give some away though.
Read with dustjacket or remove it?
I don't like to read with the dustjack since it'll get creased. I take it off and put it to the side so it's still nice when I put it back on
Short story or novel?
I usually prefer novel but when reading somebody like Stephen King, a short story for him could be novel length ;)
Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
Haha, must you ask? *glares at any who try to take her Potter books away*
Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks?
Unless I'm literally about to fall asleep I'll read to a chapter break.
“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time?”
I want the beginning to catch me. If I'm not intrigued by the end of the chapter I usually won't finish the book.
Buy or Borrow?
I usually buy books but I also borrow (libraries rule!)
Buying choice: Book Reviews, Recommendation or Browse?
Browse! I like reading a book's synopsis and finding new authors to read. I'll go by recommendations though
Lewis or Tolkien?
I like them both.

Haha, if it's a series then cliffies are alright (but agony!) but if it's one book then I loathe a cliffhanger. I remember reading a book called The Cell by Stephen King that was basically a cliffie.

A book by the Mental Floss people. It's a book on trivia, facts about various things. I'm a trivia\knowledge junkie. Knowledge is power! :D
