Oh! The snow has completely covered the ground again, and it had been so sunny the past few days! It almost made me forget that summer was long gone. I didn't get to enjoy the nice weather very much... But spring will be here in a few months. And winter wouldn't be winter without snow! As sad as it may be to be away from home during a celebration, it's also quite wonderful to spend time with new friends, isn't it?

It is! It's one of my favorite celebrations. I'm not sure how the City celebrates it, but we always had big parties back at home.

A big party sounds like a wonderful idea! I can't imagine it would be in any way problematic if you chose to celebrate according to the traditions you know.

Traditions should be kept, no matter where a person is. I don't think I could replicate that kind of party, though! There were always a lot of people there. [Mostly adults~]

You're very right, Uni. However, a smaller party would surely be sufficient, as long as you enjoy it with your friends.

[She nods] That's really all that matters!

...Oh, Mister Gremio! Do you know what you'll be doing to celebrate the new year?

[And he smiles back, though the question takes some pondering.] Ah...I haven't given it a lot of thought, however...I will likely cook a special meal for the young master and his friends, if he wishes to celebrate.

How nice! Is that how the two of you would bring in the new year, back in your homeworld?

Yes. Much like yourself, we would often host very large parties! [What happens when they're part of a great general's household!]

It's always exciting with so many people! But...you didn't cook all by yourself, did you? [They both know what it's like to run with the important crowd!]

It makes for a very lively event, doesn't it?

Oh, I usually did most of the cooking myself, though sometimes I had some, er, a-assistance. [The kind from kids that actually makes things worse, even if the effort is appreciated.]

It really does! [Forget that the men like to drink a little too much...!]

Oh? It's a lot for you to do on your own, isn't it? Preparing a meal for so many people...

[Don't they all at these parties!]

It can be a chore but also an honour to serve meals for a large celebration. The trick is to prepare as much in advance as you can and plan your time. [And there was always huge amounts of fretting involved, but, well...It's Gremio.]

[Especially if it's mostly men at these parties!]

I see. That's how the cooks make it seem so effortless to have large dishes ready at the right moments. [Oh, Gremio~ :3 ]

[And even moreso when they're soldiers or mafia!]

That's exactly right! Many preparations can be made a few days ahead, which helps greatly. [Where would he be without the worrying~?]

[They'd see no difference in each others worlds!]

It's better if it isn't stressful for everyone. The point of a party is for people to enjoy themselves! [It'd be way out of character!]
