So yeah, I haven't had a break today, but it hasn't been that bad. The worst thing I had to deal with was a doctor's wife on a power trip. I haven't got too much sympathy for doctors' wives who get more than a little high and mighty with me. In my opinion, the only thing they've got in their favor is that they've been required to fuck the doctor in question more than a few times. While in some cases, we can view this as an onerous task and say, 'that poor woman', this doesn't qualify them medically.
In any case this woman asked me, 'Do you know who I am? I'm his wife, you can just give the information to me.... he's downstairs on his exercise bike.'
At least I know what I can get away with. I merely notified her that the doctor had instructed us 'to call him at home for his emergency calls, not disregard HIPAA regulations and give her sensitive information she had no right to access'. Therefore, instead of giving the message, I told her that she could tell him to call us back ASAP, as this was considered an emergency call.
In other words, 'STFU, bitch.'
