Is anyone of you people on my flist spiritual? Today I was told once again that I have an old soul. I do not really know what that means and I did some reading on the subject. And I wondered if any of you have any experience on this subject!

Well I'm an old soul, it just basically means that you have had some previous lives under your belt. It's really interesting after I did my Usui Reiki studies (I'm officially a therapist) we also did some in dept courses into reading previous lives, there's also a way to do this yourself. Sometimes I feel people are just saying it to seem interesting or deep.
I am not religious in any way, I believe in universal energy and am sensitive to energy and after meditating opening Chakral energy and such I become more sensitive and can see residual energy (what others may call entities), I can also feel Chakral energy and have taken a course in exploring and understanding Chakra's as well. I believe in Einsteins theory about time, it also corresponds with some Budhistic views. I have deeper feeling, which is something an old soul can have but not necessarily. I am not agnostic but ecclectic and take from a lot of things what I feel to be correct and not only that I find similarities and small differences in all the different religions out there. From Budhisme to Reiki to Universalism to Wiccan to Theosofie to Occultisme to Shamanism....
More importantly to myself is the Goddess Energy.

I was never told I was an old soul by teachers, I was headstrong, stubborn and the silent bookworm type until I was 14 years old, I then became, loud, very present, and very bored very quickly, 70% absent in the 3rd year of the highest level in high school (my mom signed wavers as long as I kept my grades up) and good grades... the teachers did always blame my boyfriends for their "bad influence", possibly because they couldn't match my good grades to my behaviour... puberty ;)

If you replace your idea of God of that of an Universal Energy which ties everything together the following book, especially part 1 and 2, is interesting to read: http://www.gesprekmetgod.nl/overcwg/neale.htm
Unless you are religious, feel free to think of it as God ;)

If you ever want to go tree hugging we could set a date, lol.
