To start this new chapter in my journal, I am sharing TWO bits of happiness today...
(1) I HAVE KITTENS!
Yes - this deserves caps. How could it not? There is a stray cat that I have been feeding for a few weeks. Lovely little thing. Too skittish for me to pet but I will prevail, I just know it. Well. This morning, as I was leaving for work, I opened the door to discover two very small, very orange kittens! Oh the joy in my life at that moment! The mom (Who I have named Molly - can you guess why!) was with them of course but I was in fits. Fits! The thought of those little bundles of joy brought sunshine to my somewhat lousy work day - it's Monday. We work with what we can. I came home near 14 hours later and went out to feed the kittens who I have now named Fred and George to find.... THREE MORE! I'm going to be honest. I cried tears of joy. It's a thing. You can actually do that. Oh I look forward to a beautiful summer of kitten happiness.
