“Pardon?”
Pansy smirks and bites her lip at the pure, unadulterated offense laced in his voice. Who knew that such a simple statement-a fact, as far as she’s concerned-could so quickly turn Finnigan from self-assured and apathetic to sharp-eyed and glaring.
“You heard me, Finnigan.” Pansy pauses, leaning against the doorframe, and takes care to slowly pronounce each of her words-naturally so that they’ll sink in easier. “I don’t beg.”
A smirk grows slowly across his face, and Merlin help her, it reminds her of Draco. Not her more recent memories of him, but her young ones. And just like Draco when they were young, Finnigan’s smirk causes her traitorous body to react almost immediately.
She manages to keep composed, for a while at least. The possibility of triumph spurs her on, even as he continues to challenge it. But then his hand is dancing across her skin, pulling across the sensitive underside of her breast, pushing against her with that combination of hard and soft.
She doesn’t even recognise her own voice when her whimpers turn into begs. Her mind is only filled with him and her need. When her plea escapes her, she finds that she doesn’t care that she’s begged. She thinks it’s okay to give in here, because her surrender is all the sweeter when he does too.
