I can tell it's winter and people are doing more reading. Or something. I woke up to kudos on five stories yesterday morning! Two Hawaii Five-0, two popslash - JuC - and one - the only one I ever wrote, for topaz119, Sam/Gabriel. That's quite a variety. And then Suits and Hockey RPF today, along with a couple of SPN stories ( Read more... )

Definitely weird. Apple didn't fall far from that tree, I'm guessing. Hope your trip was fun! {I'm working my way backwards through multiple posts, so ...)

They are so very strange...they seem to be very cold, sometimes.

It was a good trip, complete with the usual cancelled flight on the way home, but I did eventually make it.

I have no idea why it's so hard to get from Columbus to Chicago and/or back. It started snowing around noon. Steph, Erica and I all had 3:30 flights. They left pretty much on time, I was cancelled. There was a plane at the gate. According to the board, we were ONE MINUTE from boarding. I asked the gate agent why the flight was cancelled, he shrugged, jerked his thumb over his shoulder at the window without looking up and said, "It's snowing."

So they rebooked me on the 6:45 flight, which left at 8:30, because by that time O'Hare was really backed up. My luggage was put on the 8 o'clock flight, which hadn't left Chicago by the time I arrived in Columbus at 10:30, so they delivered it to my house in the middle of the night.

IT'S A 56 MINUTE FLIGHT. HOW IS IT SO HARD?

Anyway, yes. :)

Or a 5.5 hour drive! You might be better off behind the wheel next time.
