because somebody as brash and ostensibly obnoxious as Youngwoon, and somebody as catty as Heechul, should not be perceptive to other people’s feelings as well.
i've given up on the thought that heechul will ever commit to one guy, so i've just resigned myself to the fact that whoever he decides to love the next day will probably make a good couple with him anyway
I really like this - I think it was a nice change of pace to see Sungmin written a little less happy. Not that he's turned into an emokid, no, but everyone has bad days/periods before, like the ficc says, "returning to his usual sunny self". It's very realistic and I think you did a great job showing Donghee's friendship, and how Hyukjae is a little oblivious, and the moment of HanChul friendship-- It's all so good and makes me :( for Sungmin. ♥
Donghee is gone; in his place is a pillow and a post-it with a smiley face and a cute, plump little heart drawn on.
Yeah, I think sometimes Min has the unfortunate fate, in the fic world, of being stuck in the biggest archetype ever, to the point where he's just this ...caricature :l. I'm happy you thought it was realistic! Thanks for the detailed reply <3
This was really, really good. I love the style of writing you have here, and of course I always appreciate fics where Sungmin isn't a cute pink bunny :P The pacing of this was perfect, through the day, and Sungmin always seeing Hyukjae's back and the weariness of his feelings for him - it just all felt very real and it read very easily and naturally. ♥ ♥
Memming, because this was written so well and I love the feel of it :D
I liked this. :) You wrote really well for a different style (but idk how much, since I haven't read your other stuff P: ) but your characterisation of everyone fits in well. :) ESPECIALLY SUNGMIN. I'm glad you don't think he's a little fluffy bunny. .__. It had a nice feeling to it. :) idk how to describe it, but it was sort of reminiscing to me, even if that doesn't make sense. ^^;
(I am clearly too lazy to log out of my own fic journal to comment, sorry :/)
What I love about this the most was the tone and atmosphere- Sungmin's POV reminds me a lot of a hazy morning and everything seems to proceed in slow motion but hardly makes an impression on him, until here comes his interactions with Hyukjae that are like little flecks of sunlight peeking in. I love this a lot, you have no idea how frustrated I've been with the portrayal of Sungmin in fanfic lately and it's so refreshing to read something like this. ♥
