[Sokka takes a deep breath and begins:Okay! So! I went wandering into the maze to go see if I could find something to cheer a friend of mine up because someone else found something he liked there. And you know, when you leave the stairs and turn to the immediate right, there's a door, right? SO.

[No fair Sokka! You can't give her directions and then not tell her what you've found.
Yeah, she'll be there.]

[Those really were some excellent directions, and one of the big benefits of a maze is that there's always a wall for Toph to follow. It's not long before she finds what she's searching for.
Her toe nudges one of the escaped plastic balls. It starts to roll but, tipped off by the sound, she scoops it up. She rolls it between her hands.]

Sokka is wearing socks.

You wanna play?! Say the word and we'll have some real fun!
[Just one word, one sound. That's all she needs. A grin spreads across her face and her hand closes around one of the light plastic balls.]

Hearing him isn't a problem. You can't move in this place without making noise. Finding him is another problem altogether.]
Get back here so I can hit you!
[Was that his shirt she'd just felt? Or had it just been the felt side of the pit? She makes a grab for it.
This's almost like swimming. Except, you know, she can breathe.]
