[Sokka double- and triple-checks his locks before he starts talking. The whole Azula situation was becoming entirely ridiculous. The girl had killed her brother-- Sokka knows it had to be out of revenge, that's just how Azula works, that's how he died, after all.
Sokka is tired of sitting around and doing nothing about this. But he knows he can't very well take on Azula as he is right now. He's taped a chart up on his wall, and it's blank--
but not for long. It's labeled with several different categories:
(Who?) (Abilities?) (What Will They Teach Me?) (Usefulness against Azula [1-5]) (Usefulness against Other People [1-5]) (What I Will Owe Them In Return.)

I have a request, buuut, let me explain first.
So, you know how we're all from different worlds, and stuff? We all have a bunch of different skill-sets, ways of fighting and strategizing that we might not have at home. And that? That's kind of amazing, you know? At home, I studied with a man named Piandao, who was the greatest sword-maker and swordsman, period, in the Fire Nation. A lot of you probably know that the Fire Nation was-- generally, slightly on the evil side of things, except for some people. He taught me, even though he knew I was from a country that was technically the enemy of his nation. He said that knowledge belongs to no one country.
What I'm asking for is a willing teacher. Anything you want to pass on, lay it on me. I'm really willing to learn, it would help me so much here. I'm kind of limited because of the whole, "we-don't-get-weapons" thing, and-- I'd be really honored if anyone would take me in as a pupil for a little while. Like I said, anything you can teach me will help me out-- my dad was going to work on some hand-to-hand stuff with me, but...

I'll even try to repay you somehow-- I'm pretty good at making stuff, and I can do favors and stuff for you, if you need it.
