she's a brick and I'm drowning slowly
So for anyone not aware, the artist Ben Folds is holding a contest to find the best a cappella arrangements of his music. My group does a version of his song "Brick", and it actually won us a bunch of awards from the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) competition in spring of 2007.
We submitted our video entry into his contest,
He's making a compilation CD to be sold for charity, and he's choosing 12-15 songs. We really think we have a decent shot of winning, and if we do we get to go record with him professionally in the spring!! Keep your fingers crossed for us :)
