The trials and tribulations of the one and only Dr. Jack Shephard
The epic and terrible plane crash of Oceanic Flight 815 had happened over a month ago, and since then, life had pretty much sucked for Doctor Jack Shephard. He was stuck on a crappy island, where he was obviously the smartest and definitely the prettiest. A lot of people had totally died, including Boone, even though Jack had poured his own lifeblood into Boone’s body to save him, which should have worked. And to top it all off, today Kate, the other most prettiest survivor, was not responding to his awesome sexy moves, and was paying more attention to the redneck named Sawyer.
Jack watched Kate and Sawyer flirt in the distance. Her deep emerald green eyes stared at the cowboy with a desperate longing. Yesterday, she looked at me like that, Jack thought, tearing up in the eyes That hussy!.
Life just wasn’t fair. Jack bristled with jealously, but he had to admit that Sawyer did have a roguish charm about him, what with his fine flaxen hair, deep southern accent and a devil-may-care attitude Jack could only hope to one day match.
Damn it. Jack tried not to pout as pouting was not at all sexy, and Jack tried his best to be sexy at all times. He was starting to think Kate wasn’t very smart, cause he was a doctor, (one of the most awesome and sexy kinds of doctor, by the way) and cute girls where supposed to like doctors. But he so loved her twisty cinnamon curls, her intense jade eyes, her playful sprinkling of freckles and her murky yet mysterious past that he could over look her slight lack of intellect. Besides, she was also the second most attractive person on the island, after Jack that is, so of course they were destined to be together.
Lucky for Jack, Kate was not the kind of girl to make up her mind (a tease, if you will), and the very next day she was flirting with Jack again, batting her thick black eyelashes and pretending to be all innocent and sweet. Jack thought it was too good to be true; Sawyer was glaring at them, and Jack felt totally manly and powerful. Yes. This is right. Jack thought. Now that he had his girl, the good doctor Jack Shephard was perfectly content, and that night he dreamt of all the new and exciting and sexy adventures he would have here on the island.
