I think I may be back now. I spent a very long time frustrated and sick to death of the "doll community," so sick I couldn't even enjoy my own dolls. I'm still sick of it, but I can tolerate it now. The communities are like an open pit mine. Sift through it for the gems, but avoid it the rest of the time.
I've met some amazing people in this hobby, though, and I don't want to abandon that. And I really love my dolls.
I'm considering someone new: a Shinydoll Akali. Shinydolls have been an obsession for nearly a year now, and I think it's time. There's this one on DoA, but the eyes have been modified in a way I don't like at all. If I get her, I may end up being forced to get a new head and run the risk of hating her because of all the trouble I'll go through. If I get a brand-new doll, I may have to wait a month or two and pay quite a lot more. I'm very torn. :\
