Then I will leave it to him to deal with your health, but I do hope you speak with someone in the infirmary.

I don't need no infirmary. Like I said, I'm fine.

Whatever substance you are addicted to, I doubt ceasing to use it will be easy. Having professional assistance will help.

Do you actually know dick about it, or are you just spouting off some bullshit you got off the internet? I'm clean. I don't. Need. The infirmary.

I mean, what do you even think they're going to do for me up there?

[She didn't actually want to confide, but she has a feeling he's going to be a jackass until she backs up what she says. :|]

I found talking with my physician extremely helpful during withdrawal.

[Well, that shuts him up for a second, at least. When he's gotten over the surprise, he softens, shoulders slumping, eyes falling.]

Look, I don't know what you were on, but... it's really not like that. For me. I meant what I said -- it's not, like, a physical thing, not anymore. I had my detox down in Zero. I'm clean.

Now it's just... getting my head on straight and keeping it there, I guess.

That, as I understand it, is part of the process, Mister Pinkman. I did a great deal of research when I went through this, on several different species. The physical need is only a part of the whole.

I assume this is not the first time you've used this drug. Were you 'clean' when you came here? [She doesn't think she likes that term for this.]

[He's honestly not totally sure how to answer that, but after a second's hesitation he shakes his head.]

...No. [In any sense of the word, really.]

And yeah, I get that. So? Like I said, I ain't sick anymore.

The physical need has passed, but I highly doubt that your desire to abuse this substance is completely eradicated.

[There are some days she still wishes she had some trellium to make relating to humans easier, but.] It does not end so easily, surely you must realize that.

I said I get it, lady. What's your point? They make pills that let you stop being a junkie, now?

Perhaps if you visit the infirmary, you'll discover an answer.
