[Deeeeep sigh.] I went into the gym, he was already there. I said hi, and he just started... talking at me. He said he had to pick a side because our society pushed him into it, and it was easier to be the villain, he hit me hard enough that my cheekbone fractured and said he blew up Bludhaven to make me hate him. And then he apologized and I left.

[You didn't have your face broken. :|] He's been known to do the right thing occasionally. But really, he's mostly just... followed his own honor code. He wasn't someone who'd drop a bomb on civilians unless it benefited him, and I guess he thought it did. Or he's just so wrapped up in self loathing that he decided he just really needed to prove he was a monster even to himself, but. I've been accused of jumping to conclusions about that kind of thing before.
