[Private to the Borg Queen]

What is your status?

[Warden Filter]

[A pause; she's trying to word this to avoid sounding insensitive.] Given this...experience, we should determine a system to be followed in the event the Admiral decides to abandon us again.

admiral, [comm] lastvoyages, vulcans don't mistrust, barge why so crazy, borg. why the borg.

I concur. I'm surprised we didn't have a contingency plan already.

The Admiral had not given us a reason to form such a contingency. Now we have ample reason.

I think we should start planning for every eventuality, up to and including a nuclear blast.

Given the capabilities of some of the inmates here, I wouldn't be too surprised if one vaporized half the Barge.

That is an unfortunate possibility, if the Admiral abandons us again. I agree.

Didn't Shinzon build a terribly destructive bomb before? It seems to happen whether the Admiral is here or not.

Yes; but to some small extent, the Admiral protects the barge. The death toll may be unpleasant, but it is a fail safe.

Yeah. Losing resurrection was terrible. Let's hope that doesn't happen again.

Indeed; but we should have a system in place in the event that it does.

Not killing each other seems like a good place to start.

It does, and yet that did not happen Perhaps wardens should lock their inmates down, next time.

Every inmate? That seems a little harsh. Some of them aren't that bad.

It isn't a punishment, it's a safety precaution.

Believe me when I tell you they're not going to see it that way.

I did not say that would. But it would be preferable to death.

Some still might disagree, and try to take some of us out with them.

Which is why a solid contingency plan is necessary.
