A small update for my fellow friends who don't understand Dutch and who are actually reading this journal of mine.
First of all I would like to wish you all a happy new year and 2007 will bring you lots of good stuff.
Christmas was pretty okay. Spent first Christmas day at my parents house with all my relatives. Got some presents:
- cd's: Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters
Scissor Sisters - TaDah
Jeff Buckley - Grace. I already had this one but I can still exchange is, so I'll do that any time soon.
- a coat hanger. I don't know if that's the correct way to name it, but you'll probably know what I mean
- a new cd drawer for over 300 cd's. Will keep me going for the next year.
- 512 mb on memory for my laptop. I don't know why I got it, but my dad thought I should need it.
Had a lovely Christmas dinner where every member of the family had to make a dish. I was responsible for the soup so I decided to let everybody smell bad out of their mouths by making garlic soup. It was delicious, if I say so myself.
Didn't really do much on second Christmas day other than the usual amount of staring at the tv watching lame Christmas movies.
A few days after Christmas we went to a Japanese restaurant which is always fun. I'm starting to like sushi more and more. They also served lobster which still had to be prepared on a baking plate right in front of our nose. The lobsters were already sliced in two, and dead of course, but when it went on the baking plate I saw some paws moving. It was pretty scary but I'm sure it was caused by the heat.
Now for my favorite part which I like to mention. About a week ago I met this guy on the internet (yeah, I always meet my 'men' on the internet, think what you want) and we got off pretty well on msn and stuff. His name is
Daan (I know, the picture is blurry but he looks nice and I love facial hair :P), 20 years old and also lives in Amsterdam and he looks hot (hehe). About a few days later when I got to meet him I basically asked him out and he agreed. I still can't believe I asked him out since I'm pretty shy and stuff, oh well.
Last night we met up at a cinema in Amsterdam and saw Little Miss Sunshine which was a funny movie and had a couple of good laughs. When the movie was done I agreed to go to a pub and just chat a little while consuming rosééééééé. Around 11:30 pm we decided to call it a day and he walked me to the metro station and said he had a good time and we should do it again, blah di blah. Gave him 3 kisses on the cheek and we both went our own separate ways. For a split second I hesitated so I turned around, told him to wait for a second and then I walked back towards him and started to kiss him. Yeah, can you believe that? I normally don't have the guts to make the first move but I like him pretty much so thought now or never. It was now. So we stood there for a while but then I really had to go or I'd miss the last metro and I wasn't in the mood for walking home. When I walked home from my metro station I received a text message from him which surprised me somewhat, since men tend to not seem desperate by letting you wait for a day or two 'till you hear from him again. Then I got online and he was online as well and now we are meeting up again on Sunday which I am looking forward to a lot :) I'm getting the feeling this might work out so I'm happy.
Meh, that's about it.
cya!
