love shuffle episode 5 (spoiler included)
I can't believe no one is watching love shuffle?! I can't rave enough about the show. I went to check ljseek to see if people are watching, sad to say that most of the people aren't. Even the ones who watch complain about it either being slow or getting worse?! SERIOUSLY?
The 5th episode is where the 4 couples went back to the starting point. Everyone return to the original pairing. Girls had a get together talking about the shuffle. The "cougar" brought up about the secret doctor is hiding. That he might be the real barbaric one among them (where everyone else commented that he's mature). Ai-ai later confront the doctor about the secret. The doctor said,
"She saw a picture of my ex-girlfriend, she said it reminded her of someone in love shuffle..."
Ai-ai then reply
"by deducting using her theory, then it would be Mei"
Of course he didn't give anything away but OMG!!! Could the doctor really cook up the plan to get Mei because she reminded him of his ex-girlfriend?
Back to Chiaki sempai (just kidding), I mean Kei. He quit his job after the fight on the roof top. While Ai-ai picked the doctor as the best choice as husband, O-chan as lover, poor Kei get to be "just friend" among the 3 guys. Later on when she said she was sick, Kei cooked food for her and even feed it to her. She confess that she's going to miss him if he leaves because he can't afford the apartment anymore. she asked him to move in with him. He thought she meant living there as a friend.
But she told him to break up with Mei and come live with her, she likes Kei. Whoa! At that moment I thought for sure Kei would say, "yes please!" He actually turn away and told her that he wanted to find a job with dreams and purpose to Mei again. When Ai-ai started to cry, Kei said they could be together in the next time.
wait a minute... isn't that what people say to each other when they're ready to commit suicide or something like that?
Ai-ai seen understanding and told Kei all she wanted is a good-bye kiss. Just as Kei about to kiss her, the closet open and out came the doctor and o-chan!! They pulled a candid camera on him! Poor Kei turn away crying. He was really crying because earlier he met Mei and she complain about his decision to quit his job and storm out on him.
ohhh... the art-student licked o-chan's face. Odd I know. I guess O-chan actually consider her a real artist and himself a frued. So he wanted to be like that, someone that's outside of living and the dead, a monster. She licked his face and ask him if he really wants to be.
Ai-ai might have really like Kei, when they were out walking she said it to him again, but he laugh it off as a joke. People should learn from the boy who cried wolf story.
In the last moment when they were gather to get rather for the second round of shuffle. Kei pulled Mei aside and told everyone that they found their happy ending and going to quit. Mei stopped him and want to join the second round, she said she like someone out, someone that's in this love shuffle. O_O

I'm not doing a summary to I'm just highlighting the parts that stick out to me after watching it once. I'm surprise to see how this drama is evolving. The depth of the character and the complexity of the story plot.
Of course the main character remind to be Kei (Tamaki). He is not the most interesting character, but he's the most relatable. He would be the norm in the group of 8. While everyone suffer from problems that are abstract, he lives in the reality. At first I really thought he wanted to marry Mei and afraid to lose her becasue of the life style he's used to. With the last episode it really prove that theory wrong. Love is the only thing that he's seeking, enough to start over in the job market, potentially lose his apartment.
Mei is the character that never bother me much because. She is the cute innocent rich girl that dated Tamaki for 7-8 years. Episode 5 showcase how immature she really is. She seen to be sweet but so far she really did the most damage to Kei. I have no idea why she would do that? Is she saying that she like someone else a way to get rid of Kei for good? Then why is she still telling Ai-ai and O-chan she loves him? wtf?
The whole drawing on the face thing is too cute! The extra behind the scene clip in the end had all 3 of the other cast member holding Tamaki down and drawing on his face! :D
Ai-ai is slowly become one of my favorite, I love how she point out that the cougar didn't want anyone to fight with the art student, mostly because she can't steal him back from her. ohhhh...
oh, all 4 guys playing water polo and goofing around shirtless was really refreshing. lol. At least I felt refreshed watching it.
